I loved this piece as soon as I saw it. Firstly, the concept is wonderful as the three empty chairs immediately have the impact that someone is missing out on something wonderful. They also draw you in, making you want to be a part of the picture and take a seat <img src="e.deviantart.com/emoticons/b/b…" width="15" height="15" alt=":D" title=":D (Big Grin)" />. Of course, the colours are beautiful and capture your attention straight away, but it was the composition that made this a great image for me. As striking as the sunset is, your eyes are still pulled away from that, to the chairs and dinghy silhoutted by it. The trees on the horizon break the sky and water up nicely and complete the image for me. The only thing I could suggest for the future would be to maybe capture a little more of the sky and beach (and stitch the images) so as to get more depth to the picture. All in all though a wonderfully thought out and pleasing image with just the right amout of subtle post processing.
